Sandy’s Farm is a working farm, animal rescue and home to several rare breed animals.Although a working farm it is a beautiful, calm, inspiring place that is accessible to all.

We recently relocated to land between St.Osyth and Weeley in Essex ,after moving with the animals from rented land in Walton. With much more open space and a huge barn, the new site has great potential for a diverse range of activities, something for everyone to enjoy.

Our goat walking experience is now available to book
Our goats are so popular, love walks and love treats!
So come along to the farm and enjoy meeting our wonderful, friendly, funny and sometimes naughty goats! Learn all about them, take them for a short stroll and take plenty of photos of our cheekiest residents.
You’ll be given a bag of food to feed them and you’ll soon realise, food is the way to your goat’s heart! This experience really is a goat lover’s paradise! It’s so much fun! Put on your old clothes and wellies and enjoy 60 minutes of real hands-on goatie antics! Our inquisitive goats love to climb all over you for food, hop, skip and jump around their paddock and generally create total mayhem! At certain times of the year we may have babies for you to meet, you may even be lucky enough to get a cuddle and bottle feed a baby!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Children must be 8 years old or over. Participants must be able to walk over a mile on fields and footpaths.
Physical activity: The pace is quite slow, as goats like to look round and take in their surroundings. The walks are not suitable for people with walking difficulties or young children. However, farm visits can be arranged by appointment.
Clothing and Equipment:
Waterproof footwear with closed toes is advisable and gloves and scarves on cold days are a must. You are walking in the countryside and the grass may be wet, and some areas can be muddy.
Weather:
We walk if it is drizzling or light rain but not if it’s pouring with rain; on some days we can postpone your walk for a short while, or we can rearrange your walk for another date. Please call for advice before you leave if the weather is bad.

Sandys Farm was set up as a registered charity in Feb 2022,
We are applying for funding for several projects around the site and since the project first started in Oct 2020 it has been self-funded and supported by public donations. To be able to carry on rescuing animals and supporting the large groups of volunteers and other work we do, we need your help. If you are able to, please donate below.

Our animal sponsorship is a brilliant way to get involved with the farm and our packages make a lovely present
At Sandys Farm there are two types of animal sponsorship by way of Donation.
SPOSORSHIP You will receive a certificate through the post and regular quarterly updates about the farm and your chosen animal
£20.00 PER YEAR
VIP SPONSORSHIP You will receive a certificate through the post and quarterly updates about your chosen animal PLUS - 3 Visits throughout the year for your family or group of friends.
£45.00 PER YEAR
